El mes pasado tuve la oportunidad de compartir la barra por un breve ratín con algunos de los bartenders más talentosos de Europa, durante la Final Europea de la Competición de Coctelería Angostura 2010. Uno de ellos, cuyo estilo, recetas y presentación me parecieron simplemente fantásticas, fue Martin Siska, de 25 años, originalmente de Eslovakia y representando al Reino Unido en esta ocasión.
Él es uno de los cocteleros en The Donovan bar, del hotel Browns, en Mayfair, Londres.

"Two little roses"
Ingredientes:
- 40 ml ron Angostura 5 años
- 3 golpes de Angostura bitters
- 15 ml Aperol
- 15 ml Nettle cordial
- 40 ml zumo de pomelo recién exprimido
- 5 ml clara de huevo
Vaso: copa de cóctel/martini.
Método: agitar todos los ingredientes en una coctelera y colar en una copa de cóctel fría.

- 3 drops of Angostura bitter
- 15 ml Aperol
- 15 ml Nettle cordial
- 40 ml fresh grapefruit juice
- 5 ml white egg
Glass: martini.
Method: shaken and strained into chilled martini glass.
